SUPPORT RISE AND DONATE TODAY

Everything we do is only possible with financial support from our community partners and individual donors.

Become a donor today and help us work to revitalize St. Louis!

At Rise, we believe that all St. Louis area neighborhoods should be safe, vibrant, and friendly.

Rise acts as a resource and partner to the greater St. Louis community, providing expertise that helps the region grow in an equitable way.

Bringing together neighbors, non-profit organizations, financial institutions and government, Rise is working every day to make successful neighborhood revitalization possible.

Rise CDFI Lending

Rise CDFI offers loans tailored to the needs of small businesses in our region, particularly minority and women-owned subcontracting firms and neighborhood scale real estate developers. Our goal is to increase access to capital while building wealth for borrowers and neighborhoods underserved by traditional lenders.

Each loan is paired with development services that meet a borrower where they are, allowing individuals to grow their business and strengthen our communities.

Community Planning & Public Engagement

Rise’s expertise in completing community master plans and comprehensive plans does more than simply produce a deliverable.

As a community development non-profit organization, Rise is uniquely situated to lead community planning efforts due to our collaborative nature; our ability to bring community capacity building to plan implementation; and our focus on planning work that creates a comprehensive approach to community development, with plans going beyond the traditional lenses of zoning and land use.

Our community engagement seeks to ensure not only that the participation in any planning process is representative of the planning area and that under-served communities are represented, but also that all participants feel empowered taking part in the process.

Real Estate Development and Development Consulting

Since 1997, Rise has provided over 5,000 affordable housing opportunities to the St. Louis region. In a role of developer, lender, or development consultant, Rise has partnered with neighborhood-based organizations throughout St. Louis to create stable housing for St. Louisans who make 60% or less of the Area Median Income.

Rise provides affordable housing for the hard-working residents of the St. Louis region who make 60% or less of the Area Median Income (AMI).  Our team firmly believes that everyone deserves clean, safe and affordable housing.

These residents are people from all walks of life. They are teachers, police officers, EMTs, bank tellers, healthcare workers, and others who make up the backbone of our community. They are our friends and neighbors. They should not have to sacrifice when it comes to providing safe homes for their families.

Consulting, Capacity Building, and Technical Assistance

Many organizations have big goals including neighborhood revitalization, program management, organizational restructuring and acquiring neglected properties. Community development non-profits, local governments, and others often need additional outside assistance to bring these goals to fruition.

That’s where Rise comes in. We work with local organizations to find out how their current capacity is functioning and where the gaps are between what they are able to do and what they want to be able to do. Rise provides staff resources to put together plans and fill in gaps in expertise, time and resources to help expand the capacity of an organization so they can do more.

As a local data intermediary and the St. Louis metro partner in the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership, Rise offers a full range of data management, GIS, cartography, and other consulting services related to understanding our world through data and data visualizations. As part of our local data intermediary and capacity building initiatives, Rise can provide for or train your organization to tackle concerns related to:
