Professional Summary

Sally Miller (she/her) is a Specialist in the Office of Gender Equity & Inclusion (“OGEI”) at the University of Cincinnati where she is passionate about serving the Bearcat community through consultation, education, facilitation, and investigation of reports that involve gender-based harassment, violence, and discrimination.  Sally is a proud Bearcat alum (CECH ’04, CECH ’05) and returned to UC in 2018 after ten years of law enforcement experience in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. 
 
Sally gained invaluable experience in gender-based violence investigations while serving in the Special Victims Unit at the DeKalb County Police Department and the DeKalb Anti-Trafficking & Exploitation Unit (“DATE Watch”) at the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office.  Her work included investigations of sexual assaults, domestic violence, stalking, crimes against children, and sex trafficking.  Sally is trained in restorative justice practices and continually strives to grow in her cultural competence.
