All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Third   Location Pennswood Village   Description NOW OFFERING A NEW HIRE BONUS!! $225.00 bonus per bi-weekly pay for the first 6 months of employment   Full-time positions are offered: Single-only benefits cost $0 per pay!!  Benefits on the first day of the month following hire date - including health, dental, and vision benefits Fully-paid life insurance and short-term disability insurance Tuition reimbursement and educational assistance Retirement plan with generous matching contribution 25 days of all-inclusive paid time off per year   Pennswood Village is seeking a Full-Time CNA / Med Tech for Personal Care. Excellent staffing ratios!  Schedule an interview to see our beautiful community and meet our wonderful and caring staff.   The CNA / Med Tech will function under the direction of the nurse-in-charge in the delivery of personal patient care to the residents in Personal Care Provide personal patient care services in conjunction with established nursing policy and procedure under the direct supervision of the nurse in charge.  Maintain accurate and objective written and oral communications through the use of the problem-oriented record system.  Plan and complete patient care assignments, assisting patients with all activities of daily living.  Participate in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the individual patient plan of care as a part of the interdisciplinary team.   Maintain and ensure the personal rights of all patients through knowledge of and advocacy of the Patient's Bill of Rights.   Establish safe and accurate working habits in the delivery of individual patient care.   Participate in ongoing education to extend knowledge and improve skills as required by DPW. Participate in the orientation of new staff members.    Assist in the development of Health Service programs.   Actively participate in monitoring the medical alert and fire alarm systems.     Position Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent. Certified as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Pennsylvania. Completion of DPW approved medication administration training. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: Read, write, and follow oral instructions. Previous related experience preferred. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to bend, stretch, climb, kneel, reach, stoop and lift 20 pounds; transferring patients.
