Duties will primarily include teaching the SOCI 1120 Introduction to Sociology course for Young Harris Early. Young Harris Early College is the YHC dual-enrollment program whereby high school students take college courses to receive transferable college credits while still earning credit toward high school graduation These Early College courses will be taught in the Jefferson City High School classroom. The successful candidate will have earned at least a Master's degree in Sociology or closely related field. A strong commitment to teaching in a liberal arts undergraduate curriculum is required, as well as a comfort in using technology. Reasonable student enrollment per course and competitive pay (per course). Sample course syllabi will be provided by YHC faculty. Candidates should apply electronically.
