Admissions Counselor
Young Harris College is accepting applications for a dynamic individual to join our team in the Office of Admissions. The position serves as the front-line point of contact for prospective high school and transfer students. The ability to multi-task and work both independently and as part of a team are critical to success in this position. Other qualifications include exceptional organizational skills, problem solving, proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as excellent communication and verbal skills.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Attends college fairs, plans high school travel, develops relationships with high school guidance counselors, parents and prospective students. Ensures that recruitment goals are met regarding applications, acceptances, and enrolled students through travel, verbal, and written correspondence.
A Bachelor's degree is required along with previous experience in higher education, preferably in recruitment and/or sales.
