Summary
The purpose of the position of the Assistant Advancement Coordinator is to support the Advancement Coordinator and the Office of Advancement as a whole. The successful candidate is dedicated, hardworking and has strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is required and an associate’s degree or higher is preferred. One to two years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is desired. Applicants must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). A working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge software is a plus.
Responsibilities
Prepare and manage correspondence, calendars and daily meetings.
Conduct senior-level administrative and general office duties, including managing team and individual calendars, mail, copying, record keeping, word processing and telephone reception.
Provide assistance to and coordination with the Office of the President as needed.
Prepare purchase orders and payment request forms for teams within the Office of Advancement.
Assist Advancement Services in daily gift entry, acknowledgements, and Raiser’s Edge database maintenance and utilization.
Assist with event coordination within the Office of Advancement and with other College departments.
*This is a Temporary position for 16 weeks with possibility of changing to Permanent.
