Our focus will be:
●Build your social & emotional learning (SEL) leadership capacity to support your local districts and schools.
●Learn more about mental health and how to design trauma informed spaces to support adults and students.
●Actively connect and collaborate with other education leaders to promote SEL within a multi-tiered system of support for the whole child.
●Plan and address challenges of integrating inclusive, research-based SEL approaches into school practices and culture.

RCOE will offer a SEL Pilot Program Opportunity for District Teams. Each team will receive an award of up to $10,000!!

The 12-month pilot will support District SEL Teams in their exploration of how to scale up SEL within their district. District SEL Teams will learn how to implement and sustain systemic SEL using the Collaborative for Academic Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL) 4 Focus Areas which include:
●Build Foundational Support and Plan for SEL
●Strengthen Adult SEL Competencies and Capacity
●Promote SEL for Students
●Practice Continuous Improvement
