Tom Anderson started his legal career as an insurance defense attorney. He spent the first 20 years of his practice defending medical malpractice cases across Western Pennsylvania. He also defended employers in a variety of employment matters. Tom began representing injured people and employees who were wrongfully fired or discriminated against in 2015. Tom now focuses his practice on helping individuals who have been injured or discriminated against in violation of state and federal laws. Tom focuses his practice on employment law, personal injury, medical malpractice, premises liability, and commercial law.

Tom has been recognized in Best Lawyers in America, which highlights the top 5% of practicing lawyers in the United States. He has also been recognized repeatedly in Best Lawyers in Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh. Tom has also been selected numerous times as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer. Tom is a Fellow of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County, a distinction limited to a specific number of selected trial attorneys in Allegheny County.

Tom has tried many jury trials involving very serious personal injury claims, catastrophic damages, and high exposure employment actions in both state and federal courts.

Tom is active in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he lives, and is a member of the Westmoreland County Bar Association and The Ned J. Nakles American Inn of Court.

Tom is a graduate of West Virginia University and Duquesne University School of Law where he was a published member of the Law Review.
