About this event

Mason's Student Health Services and the Center for the Advancement of Well-Being are pleased to offer Mental Health First Aid Training at no cost to members of the university community (faculty, staff, students). The training will be offered via Zoom. Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase a copy of the updated handbook for $18.95 through Student Health Services. An electronic version of an older edition of the handbook will be provided for no cost.

This 8-hour training will be split into two 4-hour sessions. You must attend both days (July 26 and 28) from 9 am until 1 pm. Successful completion of the 8-hour training will result in a three-year Mental Health First Aid certification.

We ask that you use your Mason email address to register for this training. You can direct questions to Katie Clare at kclare@gmu.edu.
