The Princeton Summer Journalism Program (PSJP) application opens every winter in late November/early December for high-achieving current high school juniors from low-income backgrounds. We rely on our network of counselors, journalism and humanities teachers, school administrators, community organizations, and journalism organizations to share the information with students and their mentors.  If you are a student or parent and would like to be added to our mailing list, please sign up here. Educators would like to be notified every year when the application opens can join our distribution list here. The 40 driven, intellectually curious aspiring journalists who ultimately participate in the program are chosen from a competitive pool of hundreds of applicants.
