In addition to this application, we require a letter of reference from an adult who is unrelated to you. Your reference should be someone who knows you well or has worked with you in an organizational or supervisory capacity (e.g. teacher, coach, guidance counselor, pastor, etc.).

E-mail reference letters to: Margaret Shiver ([email protected])

Once your application and reference letters are submitted, students who are selected to advance to the next step will go through an interview process with the Leadership Programs Coordinator and the ELP Committee. Announcement of the selected students for the ELP 2023-24 school year will be informed late spring.

Participation in ELP requires a commitment of time and energy. Candidates must be able to fulfill program requirements, including attendance at all program dates, completing learning to lead activities, and full payment of program fees. Participants are responsible for transportation to and from program activities.

The deadline is April 1, 2023.
