You've heard Lindsay Pinchuk say on so many occasions: Your community is your greatest asset. User Generated Content is one of the many reasons why.

It's cost-effective, provides fresh and diverse content, and fosters a sense of community and engagement. Small business owners can leverage UGC through customer testimonials and reviews, offering incentives for community members to post, hosting photo contests, sharing community stories, and using interactive quizzes, polls, and comments.
In today's conversation Lindsay will take you through the benefits of using UGC, ideas for UGC, how to execute a UGC campaign in your own marketing strategy and a case study showcasing how Lindsay used UGC for her own benefit with the Dear FoundHer... brand.

She Baked 96,000 Cookies and Raised $420,000+ to Develop Pediatric Cancer Treatments....Today She's Granted $21 MILLION, with Gretchen Witt, Founder of Cookies for Kids' Cancer

Diagnosed with stage four cancer at age two and a half years old, Gretchen Witt’s son's condition highlighted the critical need for increased awareness and funding for pediatric cancer. Drawing on her PR expertise, she organized a cookie bake-a-thon fundraiser that laid the foundation for Cookies for Kids' Cancer. The nonprofit she founded has since raised over $21 million, funding critical research and treatment options for pediatric cancer.
Gretchen shares the realities of running a nonprofit, from staying true to its mission to managing the challenges of fundraising and community engagement. She outlines practical ways businesses can support her cause, such as hosting bake sales or customizing cookies for corporate purposes. This demonstrates how for-profit initiatives can effectively contribute to philanthropic efforts.
Throughout the discussion, Gretchen emphasizes the importance of authenticity, a clear mission, and the courage to embrace new challenges despite the fear of failure. Her belief in grassroots involvement highlights her conviction that everyone has the power to make a difference regardless of their resources.
This episode is a reminder of the importance of clarity in both mission and communication, which is essential for anyone looking to make an impact through their work. Gretchen turned her grief into a global campaign against pediatric cancer, proving that from the deepest sorrow can come the greatest strength.
    Quotes
“I know my son inside and out and I know that his expectation of us who were left behind is that if there was something we could do to make it better for somebody else, we should do it. No matter what it is.” (22:12 | Gretchen Witt)“You have to be doing something for the right reason and the right purpose. And it has to be something that you believe in.” (24:39 | Gretchen Witt) “Starting an organization, whether it's a for-profit or a non-for-profit business, is not for the faint of heart. You better believe in what it is that you are doing without a shadow of a doubt. You have to have an idea of what it is that you're doing, why you're doing it, why it's important and why it's needed.” (24:45 | Gretchen Witt)

Why Mentorship is a MUST for Female Entrepreneurs, with Lindsay Pinchuk, Host of Dear FoundHer...

Earlier this week on Dear FoundHer, Kristen Shroyer shared with us the story of co-founding ONEHOPE wines.   A pivotal moment in their founding story was when they were approached by a member of the Mondavi family who later became a mentor and an investor in their business.
In today's episode we're talking about the importance of mentorship for female entrepreneurs. You'll hear Lindsay Pinchuk, host of Dear FoundHer... share her own mentorship story and then share five reasons why a mentor can be helpful. She rounds out the episode with five ideas of where you can find the right mentor for you and your business.
If you liked today’s conversation, I would LOVE it if you left a 5 star rating and a review so that others can find this conversation. All you have to do is go to ratethispodcast.com/dearfoundher or click the link in the show notes to leave a review wherever it is that you podcast.

Disrupting the Wine Industry by Giving Back $10M to 40,000 Causes, with Kristen Shroyer, Co-Founder of ONEHOPE Wine

Disrupting the Wine Industry by Giving Back $10M to 40,000 Causes, with Kristen Shroyer, Co-Founder of ONEHOPE Wine

Who would have thought that a simple idea generated over happy hour could transform into a multimillion-dollar wine business? This is exactly what happened with ONEHOPE Wine—a business where every bottle sold supports a cause. At the heart of this story is Kristen Shroyer, whose journey uncorks the power of mentorship, determination, and a mission to give back and make a difference.
Her journey began with a simple observation she and her co-founders made while selling wine in grocery stores: the wine aisle lacked charitable initiatives. This insight led to the start of ONEHOPE Wine, a venture that initially operated out of their cars, which they later learned was illegal. However, a turning point came when they formed a partnership with the esteemed Mondavi family, which lent credibility to their brand and helped improve the quality of their product. Today, ONEHOPE Wine boasts annual sales of 1.5 million bottles and has contributed over $10 million to nonprofits. Distinguished by its mission-driven ethos, the brand is committed to giving back, donating 10% of its profits to various charitable causes. Through their "cause entrepreneur" program, ONEHOPE Wine empowers individuals to join their mission and fundraise for causes they care about through wine sales.
Kristen emphasizes the importance of authentic, transparent, and mission-driven business practices. Her advice for aspiring entrepreneurs is clear: surround yourself with supportive people, embrace confidence, and never underestimate the value of finding the right mentors.
    Quotes
"We wanted a wine brand that gave back 365 days of the year, no caps on what we donate. And, then to be able to support multiple different causes too." (10:02 | Kristen Shroyer)"My advice to someone who simply wants to find a mission that aligns with their business is to make it very authentic to your personal story and what you're trying to accomplish as a business. And be very transparent." (33:05 | Kristen Shroyer)

How I landed a 7-figure partnership with Target that Led to my Company's Acquisition, by Lindsay Pinchuk, Host of Dear FoundHer...

On today's episode, Host, Lindsay Pinchuk discusses how she built her first company using partnerships---trade partnerships to borrow other brand's communities. Through her partnerships, she ended up securing many paid sponsorships, which eventually led to Target hiring her company to create a brand activation that led to 6-figure programs for multiple years, and then the acquisition of her company. Following the acquisition, Lindsay's company, Bump Club and Beyond, turned their partnership with Target into a multi-7-figure activation.
She's walking you step-by-step through the process of how she made this happen.

Create 30 pieces of Content (from ONE) in Just Two Hours, with Lindsay Pinchuk, Host of Dear FoundHer...

"How many people are on your social media team?" Is Lindsay Pinchuk's favorite question. WHY? Because it's just her and has been for a LONG time...even after she sold her company, she wasn't given a team as promised, and her social media strategy and management came from her.
But she was able to do it in a way that elicits this question all the time. HOW? She has a process---multiple processes actually to repurpose her content and really squeeze every last bit of juice out of it.
Unless you’re a content creator, you don’t want to be creating content all the time—instead you want to create content that connects and then USE it, and reuse it, and really make the most of it. Once you put your content to work for you with a process to repurpose it you will grow your brand awareness, engagement and ultimately make more sales.
In today's episode, Lindsay talks about the importance of this process AND shares ten simple ways you may not be thinking about repurposing your own content. PLUS, grab her guide: 30 Pieces of Content in Two Hours.

Don’t Miss A “ FoundHer”Episode!

My only regret is not meeting Lindsey years ago! I love every second of each episode — it’s like small business consulting — gratis! Our baking business is in its 14th year, and as a FoundHer I am still learning and am grateful for this resource. I can’t wait for the next episode. I recommend Dear FoundHer podcast without reservation!

Fantastic podcast!

Lindsay is a natural, and I love listening to her podcast. What makes her so good is that she truly listens and responds to the things her guests say. It’s an actual conversation. Some podcasters can’t go off script- they have their list of questions and once their guest answers they’ll say “that’s awesome” and move right on. Not Lindsay! She always comes back to the messages her guests impart, it never feels stiff or awkward, and her episodes truly feel like you are chatting with girlfriends (albeit brilliant ones!) around a dinner table. I love listening to this show on long walks - it’s such an inspiring podcast for female founders!

Great tips

I’m so glad I found Lindsay and absolutely love, love, love her podcast. I’ve gotten so many gems of tips. A bonus is that she brings such fantastic energy to her podcast.
