Financial Assistance

We know that everyone has a different journey. We also understand that you may have some anxiety surrounding school, tuition and licensing fees, while also managing your work schedule and/or clinical rotations, not to mention life outside of school and work. That is why we offer a variety of financial assistance options to help those who wish to advance their education and skills.

• Educational Assistance Program

  • The Educational Assistance Program is offered to non-team members (meaning, you do not have to work for Owensboro Health in order to take advantage of this opportunity) who have been accepted into one of the following accredited, healthcare degree programs: Registered Nurse (pre-licensure ADN or BSN program), Licensed Practical Nurse, Respiratory Therapy, Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Pharmacy or Imaging*
  • *If your particular program of study isn’t listed, please reach out to the Recruitment Team at recteam.owensborohealth.org to determine current organizational need and if an opportunity for participation in the Educational Assistance Program may exist.
  • For those individuals selected to participate, $2500.00 per semester is paid directly to your educational institution. Upon Graduation, recipients agree to work full-time for 6 months in their field of study for every semester funded. For example, an occupational therapy assistant student accepted into the Educational Assistance Program who receives $7500.00 (3 semesters of funding), would commit to work 18 months full time as an occupational therapy assistant at any Owensboro Health owned facility upon graduation. In addition, recipients are eligible for reimbursement of their licensure fees.
  • Application deadline for Fall acceptance is August 1st and January 1st for Spring acceptance; however applications are processed as they are received and can be submitted at any time.
  • Ready to apply? Review the full program guidelines, and find the application here.

• New Graduate Tuition Reimbursement
