NRCC Continues to Expand Offensive Map Following Redistricting Developments

The NRCC today released an expanded offensive map following redistricting developments.  

The NRCC is now targeting a total of 72 Democrat-held or newly created seats ahead of the 2022 midterms.

The NRCC was previously targeting 70 Democrat-held seats.    

“Republicans have the message, the candidates, and the resources needed to take back the majority,” said NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer. “Vulnerable Democrats who chose not to retire will be shown no mercy.”
Target Breakdown:
12 are Trump 2020 Districts 
11 are Biden 0% to Biden 5%
16 are Biden 5% to 10%
33 are Biden 10%+
Of the 72 seats, 7 seats on the list do not have final maps yet (FL-07, FL-13, FL-14, FL-22, NH-01, NH-02, MD-06) so the old lines were used.
