The State of the University will be a shared address this year, with members of the campus leadership team joining Chancellor Charles Robinson on stage to discuss the university’s progress in many areas, including the advancement of the 150 Forward pillars of Student Success, Research Excellence and Employer of Choice, and how the campus is aligning with the strategy.

The State of the University will be held today, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. in the Faulkner Performing Arts Center and is open to the public. It will also be streamed live on the U of A YouTube channel.

At the conclusion of the address, time has been allotted for in-person attendees to ask questions.

Representatives from Enrollment and Admissions, Research and Innovation, and Finance and Administration will join the provost and chancellor to deliver the address.

  • Charles Robinson, chancellor
  • Terry Martin, provost and executive vice chancellor for academic affairs
  • Suzanne McCray, vice provost for enrollment and dean of admissions
  • Margaret Sova McCabe, vice chancellor for research and innovation
  • Ann Bordelon, executive vice chancellor for finance and administration

The campus is currently in the third phase of the 150 Forward strategic planning process as colleges, schools and divisions collectively align strategies in support of advancing the university’s land-grant mission. This fall, the U of A set a record for enrollment for the third consecutive year, welcoming more than 32,000 students for the first time in its history, including a record number of Arkansans enrolled.
