Parking Reminders for Basketball Season

When Razorback basketball begins, athletic parking areas should be vacated before each men's and women's game.

Motorists parked in those areas will need to move their vehicles two hours prior to tip-off but no earlier than 5 p.m. on weekdays. For Saturday or Sunday games, vehicles need to be moved no later than two hours before game time.

For students residing on campus, Transit and Parking recommends that they move their vehicles on Friday night before any Saturday game.

You may go online to see maps of which parking areas are used for men's basketball and women's basketball.

If you wish to get regular calendar reminders of when the parking areas must be cleared, you can set it up by following the directions below.  (Those who already receive the calendar updates for football season do not need to sign up again to get reminders for basketball).

To receive vacate reminders on your Outlook calendar, simply go to the calendar app within Outlook and follow these instructions:

  • Right click on "My Calendars" heading
  • Select "Add Calendar" then "open shared calendar"
  • Enter the name "PARK: Athletic Events" then click OK. You should then see the calendar in your list.

The first scheduled home men's basketball games are set for Wednesday, Nov. 25, Saturday Nov. 28, Wednesday, Dec. 2, and Saturday, Dec. 5.

The first women's home basketball games will be on Wednesday, Nov. 25 and Thursday, Dec. 3.

For a full slate of the games, go to ArkansasRazorbacks.com.

You may also see reminders of when parking areas must be vacated by following Transit and Parking on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter (@UATandP).
