POST COVID IN INDIA

We in India have been struggling for almost five years to gain favor once again with the Indian Government. They continue to deny us permission to build more churches and orphanages.
In the meantime, we have been focusing on many other projects.
GIRLS’ HOME:
We completed the beautiful new girls’ home, only to be told we had to plow all the extra land and plant agriculture or forfeit the land. We now have a lovely lemon grove growing beside our girls’ home. In addition, we had to add fences, cameras, and new gates. It is the government’s goal to close our home, but we continue to meet all their requirements. We will be able to house up to forty girls when we have it completely populated.
PASTORS: We have more than 450 Open Bible pastors here now. We have drilled wells, provided scooters, and built churches for more than 100 congregations. We continue to pray for more funds and more favor with the Indian Government to be able to meet the needs of our growing family in India.
"Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich."
II Corinthians 8:9
COVID FEEDING: We were able to feed hundreds of families each week in Coimbatore, Delhi, and Karur. We are continuing the feeding currently because of the consequences of the country shutdown.
ELIDA FARM:
Our 27-acre farm became our focus and our retreat. We were once again advised that all land needed to be used for agriculture or be confiscated. We cleared the land and constructed solar lighting and electric fences. This was critical to keep out the elephants, wild pigs, and many other animals. We also dug and repaired the wells for irrigating the cultivated areas of the farm. We have planted fruit and nut trees along with various vegetable crops. There are two families with agricultural experience living at the farm.
SERENITY GARDEN:
My husband, Ron, passed on January 1, 2020. A group from the States was leaving the same day for India. They went ahead and I joined them after Ron’s celebration of life. We built a beautiful garden at our farm. A small part of him remains there in the country he loved so much. It is a regularly visited place of prayer.
GOING FOWARD

BOYS’ HOME:
WE HAVE BEEN GRANTED OUR PERMIT!!!
The construction for a Boys’ Home will begin mid-November. We are building the home on our farm property outside the city, at the foot of a beautiful mountain range.

BIBLE COLLEGE:
We have been assured when our Boys’ Home is completed, we can expect to get the permit for our new Bible College.
RON’S SOCCCER ACADEMY: Our award-winning soccer club has been a wonderful outreach. We plan to build a soccer pitch on the farm for our club, which will also be rented out to other clubs in the future. There is no other field in the area.

LINDZ BAKERY AND FARMERS MARKET: Going forward we hope to move both the Lindz Bakery and Farmer’s Market to the farm.
This is a quick overview of the last two years. It has been a rollercoaster for sure. I can’t tell you how much it has meant to me that so many of you have come alongside and helped me through this difficult time after Ron’s death. I know he is smiling as he sees the seeds, he, along with so many of you helped to plant, blooming all over southern India.
THANK YOU IS SIMPLY NOT ENOUGH TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE!

and he will repay him for his deed." Prov 19:17 ESV
