These four cuties came in last month on a transport from Indiana. The shelter they were at was closing, and if our volunteers were not able to rescue them, they would have been euthanized.

This is just one example of how your donations support our animals - they received medical evaluation and treatment upon arrival. Dolly was spayed and evaluated for an injured ear, and Otto, who spent his life tied to a tree, is receiving socialization and training from our volunteers, and both are ready for adoption now! Nova is sweet and playful, and still looking for her forever home. And we are excited to share that Scarlett went home with her new family on February 1st!

Meet Faye:

Help us break Faye's unlucky streak! She is not getting any attention from adopters, and no one has even asked about her in over two months.

Faye is playful, cuddly and loves showing off all the commands and tricks she knows. And when her trainer says she is smart, SHE IS SMART. Doesn't everyone want a dog who's both smart and cuddly??

Faye’s Fan Club of volunteers give her extra attention and she has plenty of toys. But none of that compares to living in a home again and being part of a family.

Faye needs a home without other pets or small kids and could be a great fit for folks with no kids, a retired couple or empty nesters.

A picture just can’t describe how charming Faye is in person. Please, give this spectacular girl a chance.

Join us for a paws-itively fun time at our Breakfast Club Meet and Greet on Saturday, February 18th from 11am-1pm.

Come to the Adoption Center lobby (1901 Ogden in Downers Grove) for donuts, coffee, hot chocolate and meet one of our first-rate adoptable dogs. Bring your friends and family, all are welcome!
