Requirements

If you answer yes to all of these questions, then you might be eligible for our scholarship.

 

1. Do you live in one of these South Carolina counties?

  • Allendale
  • Barnwell
  • Charleston
  • Clarendon
  • Darlington
  • Dillon
  • Florence
  • Jasper
  • Lee
  • Marion
  • Marlboro
  • Williamsburg

2. Will you graduate from a public or charter school?

Review accepted high schools.

Private high school graduates do not qualify.

Graduate of the state’s Governor’s Schools qualify if they previously attended an eligible high school.


3. Will you receive a LIFE or Palmetto Fellows Scholarship?

You will if you meet two out of the three requirements:

  • Graduate with a 3.0 GPA
  • Rank in the top 30 percent of your graduating class
  • Have a 1100 SAT score or a 22 ACT score

4. Did you complete the FAFSA and receive a Federal Pell Grant?

Sign in to your Federal Studie Aid account to check your FAFSA Submission Summary.

Students who earn any Federal Pell Grant are eligible.


5. Will you attend an eligible college or university as a full-time student?
