Heaved the weight throw 46 feet 5.8 inches at the Pittsburgh State Invitational, an indoor meet, in his collegiate debut and this put him first in conference…Set personal record of 46 feet 11.77 inches in weight throw at Texas Tech University’s Jarvis Scott Open, an indoor meet, and this put him eighth in region…Made outdoor debut at Trinity Invite at Trinity University and threw hammer 159 feet 5.77 inches on his first attempt, which placed him third nationally…Threw hammer 161 feet 8.15 inches to win first at D3 Challenge in Seguin, good for 22^nd nationally and second in conference…Set new personal record of 167 feet 3.48 inches in hammer at East Texas Invitational in Commerce, good for first in conference and national top 50…Won hammer with personal record throw of 171 feet 1.54 inches at conference meet…Helped McMurry win third-straight men’s conference title…United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Region for outdoor
