Daniell played a crucial part in the 5-4 win against Howard Payne to earn the final spot in the ASC Championship Tournament ... Went 9-10, 3-2 on the season in the No.1 singles seed ... 2020-2021 (Junior):
Earned bid to NCAA DIII Men's Tennis Championship with No. 1 doubles partner Carlos Martinez ... Competed in first round play against against Southern Virginia's Daniel Blonquist and Marcos Diaz ... A tight battle resulted in Martinez/Daniell falling 6-4, 7-6 (4) ... According to available records, Daniell and Martinez are the only two individuals to represent McMurry in the NCAA Championships by invite ... Daniell earned all-conference honors with Martinez in Flight 1 doubles ... The duo posted a 15-2 record while going 5-0 in ASC play ... Defeated ACU's No. 1 doubles team twice this season ... High School:
A 2018 graduate of Wills Point High School … Earned four letters playing for coaches Len Turner and Ann Daniell … State champion in doubles as a senior … State individual semifinalist in 2016 and 2017 … Helped team reach state semifinals in 2014 and 2017… Also earned three letters in baseball, earning first team All-District as a senior … Four-time Academic All-District.
