I am a scholar of modern Jewish history, Yiddish, and memories of genocide. My research interest is in American Holocaust memory in film, museums, and other kinds of public expression.


No matter what I'm working on, I'm always surrounded by books. Currently, I am a full-time Bibliography Fellow at the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, MA.
