EDPA Sponsors Scholarships for Fuel the Growth: Forging Ahead in 2021 Through Economic Development
PIERRE, S.D. – The Economic Development Professionals Association (EDPA) will award up to 10 scholarships to attendees of the Fuel the Growth: Forging Ahead in 2021 Through Economic Development workshop on September 15-17 in Rapid City.
This 2.5 day fall conference will be held at, and hosted by, the Black Hills State University Rapid City Center. This is a collaboration effort between Black Hills State University (BHSU) and the Rushmore Region Economic Development Alliance. Training covers topics like workforce development, business retention and expansion, small business and entrepreneurship development and much more.
Applicants must commit to attending the full 2.5 days, in-person only, be part of a South Dakota based organization, show the need for financial assistance, and how this training will benefit their career in economic development. The greatest focus in choosing awardees will be on financial limitations of their organization.
