Religious Liberty in the States
Please join us Wednesday, September 14 at 11:00 AM at George Washington University for the public launch of Religious Liberty in the States (RLS). RLS is an index that compares the legal safeguards of free exercise in each state and ranks the 50 states accordingly.
The launch event is co-sponsored with the Loeb Institute and will include a welcome address from Kelly Shackelford, CEO/President of First Liberty Institute, as well as an overview of the project, an unveiling of the state rankings, and a panel discussion with Dr. Sarah Estelle of Hope College, the Director of the RLS project, Dr. Jordan Ballor, Director of Research at the CRCD, and Dr. Samuel Goldman, Director of the Loeb Institute.
RLS is a project of the Center for Religion, Culture & Democracy (CRCD), an initiative of First Liberty Institute.
The program runs from 11:00 AM to noon.
Reception to follow.
