LMS Happenings, the SMCOE Library Media Services Newsletter
March 2022

Welcome to LMS Happenings!

Welcome to the March 2022 edition of the "LMS Happenings", the monthly newsletter, which supports the Library Media Services (LMS) administrators and school library personnel in San Mateo county.  This issue includes links to the SMCOE's newsletters and public library services that can support your students and their families, as well as upcoming events for school administrators and their communities.

Our monthly Zoom meeting for all LMS administrators and school library personnel happened on Thursday, March 10th, at 9:00 a.m. (please feel free to access the recording if you weren't able to attend that morning). The topic of discussion ranged from grants to the State Superintendent's definition of literacy; the 2 speakers were both from the CDE, Jennifer Howerter and Renee Ousley-Swank, who gave an informative and lively presentation.

Again this meeting was recorded so if either you and/or your school library team would like a copy of it please go to the LMS webpage

Happy Spring!
Tina
