JUNIOR SEASON (2023)
Became the first collegiate softball player in NCAA history to win back-to-back Gold Gloves after being named as a recipient of the 2023 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the NFCA…She is just the second LSU athlete to win back-to-back Gold Gloves joining Zach Watson who won it for LSU Baseball in 2018 and 2019…Tabbed to the NFCA South All-Region First Team, the All-SEC Second Team and made her second appearance on the SEC All-Defensive Team…Started all 59 games in centerfield…Finished the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage for the second consecutive season after recording 83 putouts and four assists…Matched a career-high five putouts versus Missouri (April 7)…At the plate, she registered a .347 batting average with 68 hits and had a team-high 46 runs scored…Also had 24 RBIs, 11 stolen bases and a .410 on-base percentage…Had seven doubles and her two home runs were both grand slams…Totaled a 21 multi-hit games, notched a team-best 14-game hitting streak and had five multi-hit games…Will enter the 2024 season ranked No. 7 all-time in the program’s record book with a .356 career batting average and a .990 career fielding percentage…Entering 2024, Briggs is the only player in the program’s top 10 who did not record any putouts at either catcher or first base.

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022)
Won the inaugural 2022 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, presented by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) to NCAA Division I softball athletes … Named to the NFCA South All-Region First Team, earned All-SEC Second Team honors, was placed on the SEC All-Defensive Team and honored to LSWA All-Louisiana First Team … Started in center field in all 57 games … One of three student-athletes with a 1.000 fielding percentage (minimum 75 chances) … Registered 82 putouts and seven assists … One of three players to record seven assists as an outfielder in a single season … Ended the season with the second highest batting average on the team at a .368, had 70 hits (No. 9 in the SEC, No. 41 in NCAA), 32 RBI, seven doubles, three triples, and two home runs … Led the team with 53 runs scored and her 0.93 runs per game ranked No. 5 in the conference … Also led the team with 23 multiple-hit games, including five three-hit performances … Turned in nine multiple RBI games and matched a career-best single-game high of three RBI twice against South Carolina (April 15) and Mississippi State (May 7) … Finished the season with a .435 on base pct and .468 slugging pct.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2021)
Started as the left fielder in all 57 games for the Tigers … Finished the year with a .339 batting average and an impressive .877 OPS at season’s end … In 171 at-bats, she tallied 58 hits with seven doubles, three triples and four home runs … Drove in 49 runs and finished the year having touched 83 total bases … Attempted to steal 12 times throughout the season and beat the throw 11 times … Drew 15 walks … Started off the season with a 2-for-3 day against McNeese on Feb. 11, driving in three with a home run to center field … After going hitless in the second game of the season, she went on a seven-game hitting streak … Started a nine-game hitting streak late in the SEC slate against Missouri on April 11, going 3-for-4 with two RBI … Finished the month of April with a .454 batting average after collecting 20 hits in 44 at bats … during that stretch, she scored 14 runs and had an eight-game hitting streak from April 11-15 … Recorded a hit in every game of the NCAA tournament except one and had two three-hit games against UL-Lafayette on May 22 and May 23 … Recorded 89 putouts and four assists in 95 chances … Named to the All-SEC Newcomer team … Earned SEC Newcomer of the Week … Named to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) second team All-Louisiana.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2020) – Season was cut short due to the coronavirus
Started 22 out of 24 games for the Tigers between right and left field … Had the fifth-best batting average on the team at .393 and the top freshman average … Tallied 22 hits, 19 runs scored, two doubles, a triple, eight RBI and nine walks … Was 9-for-9 in stolen bases … Made her first start in a Tiger uniform on Feb. 8 against Florida A&M and went 1-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI … Went 3-for-3 against Samford on Feb. 14 with a run scored … Had a hit in the last 12 of 13 games of the season, recording two hits against Campbell on March 6 … Walked twice on three separate occasions … Finished the year with 19 putouts and had one error in 24 games … Her first career triple came on March 7 against Campbell.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four-year letterwinning outfielder from Orange Lutheran High School in Yorba Linda, California who helped lead her team to three-straight Top 5 finishes in the CIFSS … During her freshman season her team was ranked sixth in the nation … In three high school seasons, she was part of 84 wins which helped her to become a four-time First Team All-County selection, a four-time All-CIF player, All-State, three-time Cal-hi First Team, four-year OC Varsity First Team, four-year MaxPreps All American, Care Classic MVP, All USA First Team, a PGF High School All American, Orange Lutheran All Time Hit Leader, Orange County Player of the Year and a First Team All-American by Extra Innings Softball and FloSoftball … She’s also a three-time First Team All-Trinity League selection and picked up First Team DI CIFSS honors and team MVP as a junior … … In her senior season where she led her team to the Quarterfinals, she hit .545 with 11 doubles, four triples, four homeruns, 15 RBI and eight stolen bases … During her junior season she had a .490 average, 48 hits, 45 runs scored, 30 RBI, 12 doubles, four triples, eight homeruns and 10 stolen bases … She recorded 22 homeruns in her prep career and totaled 94 runs batted in … She played for Bruce Richardson’s So Cal A’s and had a decorated career with this travel ball squad where they had a Top 5 finish at the PGF tournament … She was also part of the Student-Athlete Leadership Team at Orange Lutheran.
