On April 16th, 2024 the Respiratory Dashboard has been updated with the 2022 American Community Survey Population Dataset and additional historic vaccine data
The respiratory vaccine data displayed in the "Virginia COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Dashboard" below are intended to help Virginians better understand what coverage rates look like for different populations in Virginia this respiratory season. To provide additional context, a graph titled "2022-2023 COVID-19 and Flu Vaccine Cumulative Uptake by Population and Month" can be seen at the bottom of this page to show what COVID-19 and Flu vaccine coverage rates looked like last season.
About the Data
- All vaccine data on this page are reflective of doses reported to Virginia's Immunization Information System.
- The 2023-2024 Flu season is represented by doses administered from July 1st, 2023 through June 30, 2024.
- The 2023-2024 COVID -19 season is represented by doses administered from September 12th, 2023 through June 30th, 2024.
- Note: The different start date for the COVID-19 season is based on FDA authorization of this product.
