ASPIRE Interest Form

Eligibilty

Must be an African American/Black High School Senior
Plan to attend Bluegrass Community & Technical College as a first-year student in the upcoming Fall semester pursuing an Associates degree in Arts, Science, or Applied Science
A high school Grade Point Average of 2.5 or higher
Must complete the FAFSA to be considered for the ASPIRE scholarship
Priority will be given to PEARL Academy participants and loan only recipients

Requirements

Completed Admission Application to BCTC
Completed BCTC Scholarship Application Including:

One Letter of Recommendation from a School Official
Official High School Transcript
An original statement that is at least one typed page in length on the following topic: Discuss the value and importance in your life of continuing your education and how it relates to your choosing Bluegrass Community & Technical College
