The Silver Knights like to fashion themselves as the Golden Knights’ little sibling. The logo, practice rink and planned style of play are among the things the Henderson American Hockey League club is modeling after the NHL team.

Add jerseys to that list.

The Silver Knights revealed a pair of jerseys Monday night: a silver and a white with the same design as the Golden Knights’ sweaters. Henderson’s jerseys even have gold numbers as a nod to the Vegas parent club with the Golden Knights logo on the shoulders.

“I like all the glitter, especially on the back plate,” goalie Oscar Dansk said on the team’s livestream. “I can’t wait to wear them.”

The uniforms are for sale on the Golden Knights website and will be available in person at Lifeguard Arena in Henderson after its grand opening on Tuesday.

Like the Golden Knights, the Silver Knights will wear white helmets and gloves with their white jerseys, and black helmets and gloves with the silver jerseys. Henderson will have the same look on the sleeves with a filigree design so vital to the Golden Knights’ brand.

The official names of the six colors that comprise the jersey are white, Henderson metallic silver, Henderson silver, Vegas gray, black and Vegas metallic gold.

The AHL has announced a tentative start date to its season of Feb. 5. The Silver Knights will play at Orleans Arena while Henderson Event Center is under construction, an estimated two years. They will practice and be headquartered at Lifeguard Arena in Henderson.
