Internships

Congressional internships are a unique opportunity to gain invaluable work experience in the center of American politics and directly participate in serving your community! Our internship program is open to high school graduates, college students, and young professionals. Interns will work with staff and constituents on a wide range of tasks, including outreach, legislative hearings, casework, official correspondence, media relations, and more – with the possibility of earning school credit!

To apply for an internship in either my Washington, D.C. or Virginia Beach office, please complete and submit the form below. Be sure to have your cover letter and resume ready to submit at the end of this form…submitting those documents is required!

How can we best contact you?

This will help us reach out with a reply.

Constituents who are hard of hearing or use a video phone have the option to choose TDD or VP based on the type of device they are using. This allows our office to respond to them accordingly. The default option 'Voice' is a standard audible telephone.
