I am a researcher working in the philosophy of religion and the philosophy of psychiatry. My focus revolves around exploring extraordinary beliefs and experiences, with a deliberate disregard for traditional disciplinary boundaries. I recently led the project Expanding the Philosophy of Religion by Engaging with Afro-Brazilian Traditions (2021–2024) and currently am a member of How Emotions Inform Religion (2023–2025).

I am a research fellow at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. I was previously a research fellow at the Federal University of Santa Maria, the Rutgers Center for the Philosophy of Religion, the Jesuit School of Philosophy and Theology, and the Federal University of Paraná. I've also been an invited visiting fellow at the Leeds Centre for Philosophy of Religion and Theology and the Birmingham Centre for Philosophy of Religion. I received my BA, MA, and PhD from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in my hometown of Porto Alegre. Here is my CV.
