DeLauro Announces Appropriations Committee Roster for the 118th Congress

House Appropriations Committee Ranking Member Rosa DeLauro (D-CT-03) today announced the Democratic rosters for the House Appropriations Committee’s 12 subcommittees in the 118th Congress, including the Subcommittee Ranking Members and full Committee Vice Ranking Member who were elected by the Committee’s Democratic Members.

The 12 subcommittees and their Ranking Members are:

• Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies – Rep. Sanford Bishop, Jr. (GA-02)
• Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies — Rep. Matt Cartwright (PA-08)
• Defense — Rep. Betty McCollum (MN-04)
• Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies — Rep. Marcy Kaptur (OH-09)
• Financial Services and General Government — Rep. Steny Hoyer (MD-05)

Committee Democrats also elected Rep. Grace Meng (NY-06) to serve as full Committee Vice Ranking Member.

After today’s meeting, the Subcommittee Ranking Members and the Subcommittee rosters must be formally approved by the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee and the House Democratic Caucus.
