2022-23 (Senior):
  • Became the first Rainbow Warrior to ever earn ITA All-America honors after advancing to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Championships. After enduring several rain delays over the first two days, Ilagan swept Michigan's Andrew Maloney in the First Round followed by a straight-set win over Texas' Siem Waldeab in the Round of 32. 
  • Ilagan fought hard, evening the match after winning the second set, but fell in three sets in the Round of 16 to Ohio State's Alexander Bernard.
  • Finished his collegiate career with a final ITA ranking at No. 58 with an overall record of 18-4 in singles while going 12-7 in doubles. He and partner Karl Collins went 6-3 and with partner Lucas Labrunie recorded a 5-4 record.
  • Advanced to his second-consecutive NCAA Men's Singles Championship after finishing as the highest ranked player in the Big West
  • After starting the season at 1-3 in singles, Ilagan reeled off 17-consecutive wins before falling in the NCAA's in his final collegiate match.
2021-22 (Junior):
  • Named the Big West Player of the Year, and voted to the All-Big West First Team for both singles and doubles for the third time
  • Became just the thid UH player to earn Player of the Year honors joining Jonathan Brooklyn (2014-BW) and Dennis Lajola (2011-WAC)
  • Played No. 1 in both singles and doubles in every match, finishing with a 9-4 overall singles record and a 3-1 conference mark.
  • In doubles together with partner Karl Collins, went 9-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play as the Rainbow Warriors' top duo.
  • Had a historic fall season in ITA events. At the ITA All-American Championship (Tulsa, Okla.) in October, he began his amazing run as an unranked player in the qualifying bracket and finished in the semifinals of the main draw—the highest finish ever for a UH player in the national tourney. During his amazing run, Ilagan mowed down a total of six ranked players—No. 19 Juan Carlos Aguilar (TCU), (then ranked No. 26) Marcus McDaniel (Georgia Tech), No. 111 Josh Goodger (Florida), No. 21 Connor Kingsley (Ohio State), No. 30 Stijn Slump (Middle Tennessee), and No. 12 Alex Kotzen (Columbia).
  • Ilagan made history again in November, becoming the first Hawai'i player to be invited to the ITA Fall Championships in San Diego, Calif. The invite only event was the grand finale of the fall collegiate tennis season and featured 32 of the nation's elite collegiate players. Ilagan knocked off Alvaro Regaldo (CSU) and James Davis (DEN) before falling to No. 7 Arthur Fery (STAN) in the quarterfinals.
  • After his outstanding effort in the Fall, Ilagan was rewarded by earning the highest ranking ever for a Hawai‘i player--both male or female--coming in at No. 11 to start the 2022 season.
2021:
  • Earned all-Big West first team singles honors for the second consecutive year
  • Also named to the all-Big West first team in doubles with partner Lucas Labrunie
  • Competed in all nine singles and doubles matches
  • Played all nine singles matches and all but one doubles match at the No. 1 court
  • Recorded 7-2 overall records each in singles and doubles
  • Led the team in singles and doubles wins
  • Partnered with Lucas Labrunie for all but one doubles match, resulting in a 6-2 overall record playing at the No. 1 court
  • Finished the 2021 season with a five-match win-streak in singles
  • Won both singles and doubles matches against Cal Poly in the Big West semifinals (May 5)
  • Named academic all-Big West.
2019-20 (Sophomore):
  • Competed in 15 singles matches all on the No. 1 court
  • Competed in 13 doubles matches with partner Lucas Labrunie all on the No. 1 court
  • Finished the curtailed season with a 7-5 singles record and a 10-2 doubles record.
  • Upset No. 73 Jack Davis (Washington) in a three-set battle, 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 (Feb. 18) which catapulted Ilagan into the ITA rankings. 
  • Became just the sixth Rainbow Warrior to be ranked in the ITA in the last 10 years, joining Dennis Lajola, Andreas Weber, Leo Rosenburg, Sascha Heinemann, Jonathan Brooklyn and most recently current teammate Blaz Seric who was ranked #124 to start 2018.
  • Doubles partners Ilagan and Lucas Labrunie ended the 2020 season on a seven-match win-streak.
2018-19 (Freshman): 
  • Is the first Rainbow Warrior to ever earn Big West Freshman of the Year honors and fourth UH player to garner conference Freshman of the Year honors. From 2006-08 UH earned the  Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Freshman of the Year award with Sascha Heinemann (2006), Andreas Weber (2007) and Dennis Lajola (2008) all receiving the accolade.
  • Earned All-Big West singles (first team) and doubles (second team) accolades
  • Led UH with a 12-8 overall singles record while going 12-7 in dual matches
  • Played a total of 21 overall matches--went 10-7 playing 18 matches at No. 1 and 2-0 on the No. 2 court
  • Won nine of his matches in straight sets
  • In doubles action, Ilagain and partner Lucas Labrunie posted a 7-6 overall record, going 6-6 in dual matches
  • Played 16 matches on the No. 1 court for a 5-5 record and was 1-1 when playing at No. 2.

  • Won back-to-back HHSAA state tiles in singles in his junior and senior seasons
