  • Tied for fourth on the team with five multi-RBI games.
  • Finished third on the team in home runs (3) and fourth on the team in RBI (23).
  • Had the fifth-most doubles on the team (7).
  • One of four players who played in 30 or more games with a batting average over .300 (.321). 
  • Second-highest slugging percentage on the team among players who played 30 games (.468).

Prior to UH
  • Returned home to play for the Vulcans at Hawaii-Hilo in his sophomore season.
  • Hit .244 in 12 games for Hilo with 5 RBI including a home run at Les Murakami Stadium against the Rainbow Warriors.
  • Had a 3-4 day against Hawaii, and hit .500 in the 2-game series between the UH teams. Two of his three doubls came in his 3-4 game.
  • Played and started all 12 games for the Vulcans before the pandemic shortened the season.
  • Played his freshman season in 2019 at Pacific in Forest Grove, Ore. 
  • Hit .315 for the Boxers with 11 doubles and four multi-hit games. 
  • Had two four-hit games for the D-III university.
  • Started 22 of 28 games played for the Boxers.
Prep
  • Two-time All-BIIF first team and All-State honorable mention. 
  • Won the BIIF Championship in 2016 and 2018 at Waiakea.
  • Was the 8th ranked prospect out of Hawaii in the 2018 class by Perfect Game.
  • Was named valedictorian.
  • Also competed in the Math League and was in National Honors Society and Interact Service Club.
Personal
  • Parents are Jay and Zaida Igawa.
  • Has one younger brother, Elijah, and one younger sister, Jada.
  • Worked with the Americorp VISTA program the summer of 2020.
  • Chose Hawai'i because of the engineering program and "I have a great support system on O'ahu."
