The 2023-24 season marked the University of Hawaii women's basketball program's 12th year under the leadership of head coach Laura Beeman. 

Since Beeman was hired in 2012 as the program’s eighth head coach, the Rainbow Wahine have won three Big West Championships, three regular-season titles and earned eight postseason berths, including three NCAA Tournament appearances.
