2023-2024 Applications and Forms

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​All updated forms for the 2024 Governor's Scholars Program will be dated with the year 2024. Any documents labeled 2023 (or prior) are from previous selection cycles and are not up-to-date.

For Student Applicants:

​Refer to the Helpful Hints: Best Practices & Important Information Packet​​​ to see a completed application.​​​

Information regarding the application and selection process will be mailed to schools from the GSP Central Office in Frankfort in early September of 2023. The Application and Selection Process page (under the Applicants tab) also contains information regarding the application and selection process.

NOTE: These documents can be accessed using Google Docs; however, the check boxes will not function. You can highlight your selections instead of using the check boxes in those instances.

We recommend accessing these documents via Google Chrome. If you are receiving a pop-up regarding "creditionals" when trying to access these documents, check your security and antivirus settings on your computer.

For Teacher Recommenders:

NOTE ABOUT THE TEACHER RECOMMENDATIONS 

Because of the design, the teacher recommenders may find that there is not enough space to type the complete answer to questions 1-4 in the Teacher Recommendation Form.

While the recommenders may use the current format, the State-wide Selection Committee will accept the following format as/if needed in lieu of the current one:

• Teacher recommenders may type an entire document with the answers to the 4 questions (separate from the form).
• ​Teacher recommenders who choose to type a separate full document with the answers to the 4 questions will either copy/paste the questions or number their respective answers accordingly.
• ​School Counselors will attach the answers from the teacher recommender (separate document as mentioned above) to the first page of the current form, the one that contains the numbers.
