Biography

2022 (R-JUNIOR): Started in all but one of team’s 45 games…Hit. 187 on the season, but had a .281 on-base percentage thanks to a team-high 14 walks…Had four multi-hit games…Went 2-for-3 with two RBI at UC San Diego Mar. 20…Went 3-for-9 in the UC Santa Barbara series and was busy defensively with seven putouts and seven assists...Earned Academic All-Big West honors.

2021 (REDSHIRT): The CSU Bakersfield softball team did not compete in the 2021 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2020 (JUNIOR): Started in 13 games, all at second base, before the season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic…Led team with .368 batting average (14-for-38), two home runs, nine RBI, and a .605 slugging percentage…Recorded breakout game at No. 4 UCLA on Feb. 8, going 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI…Earned Academic All-WAC honors.

PRIOR TO CSUB: Competed for College of the Sequoias in Visalia, Calif.…Coached by Cori Janelli…Earned First Team All-American, All-State, and All-Conference in 2019…Named First Team All-Nor Cal and All-Conference in 2018…As a freshman, finished with .439 batting average, 50 runs, 25 RBI, 10 doubles, three triples, two home runs, 21 walks, and nine stolen bases…In 2019, posted a .345 batting average, 42 runs, 36 RBI, 19 doubles, 10 home runs, 15 walks, and three stolen bases…Graduated with an AAT in sociology…Earned All-State Academic honors in 2019.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Wasco High School…Coached by Sonia Wedel…Named First Team All-Area in 2017 and Co-MVP of South Sequoia League in 2016 and 2017…Named First Team All-SSL all four years and Team MVP last three seasons…Led Tigers to be Co-League Champions in 2016…Also competed in tennis for WHS, helping the Tigers win Valley Championship in 2016.

PERSONAL: Graduated in Spring 2021 with a bachelor's of sociology…Now in the Educational Counseling program and hopes to beomce a school counselor after her time at CSUB…Older sister played softball at San José State from 2012-16.
