Biography

2019 (JUNIOR): Saw action in all 20 contests for CSU Bakersfield, starting eleven times...she had four goals on the season, including a hat trick in the 4-1 win over Kansas City at home (10/12)...her three-goal performance helped the Roadrunners top the Roos for the first time in program history...finished the season with a season-high nine points...played more minutes than the two previous season combined...recognized at the end of the year team banquet.

2018 (SOPHOMORE): Appeared in 15 contests on the Roadrunner back line, sat out for three games due to an injury...tallied two shots and one shot on goal on the year all at Chicago State Sept. 28...played a season-high 94 minutes in the season opener at Eastern Washington Aug. 17...was an All-Conference Academic recipient.

2017 (FRESHMAN): Appeared in 17 matches, starting three times...recorded a goal against NM State Oct. 6...tallied an assist vs. Chicago State Oct. 15...played a season-high 63 minutes at Prairie View A&M Aug. 20.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2017 graduate of Charter Oak High School...competed under coach Kevin Harshburger...earned All-League in 2015...earned spot on Principals Honor Roll (2012-13)...posted best time on team for Illinois Running Test...helped lead Albion OC to four straight league championships...earned wins at the Surf Cup and Utah Avalanche Tournament...played varsity basketball, track, golf, and softball...earned All-League in track once and placed at CIF meet in three events. PERSONAL: Born Oct. 7, 1998...parents are Stephen and Brigitte Martinez...major is Accounting, minor in Sign Language...plans to earn master’s degree or become CPA after graduation...father, Stephen, competed in track at UCLA.
