NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN NURSES OF AMERICA(NAINA) COVID RELIEF FUNDRAISER FOR INDIA
India is going through COVID-19 pandemic tsunami averaging more than 4000 reported Covid-related fatalities and 400,000 new infections per day. Oxygen supply issues, understaffed hospitals, desperately needed medical supplies, etc. are their immediate needs.
The National Association of Indian Nurses of America (NAINA) encourages all kindhearted individuals to pour out your compassion by participating in this fundraising drive. NAINA will utilize collected funds towards relief efforts assisting India through coordination with governmental and non-governmental agencies towards relief efforts.
· Partnering with Indian healthcare facilities and nursing educational institutions and organizations such as ANEI for distributing thePPEs, medical supplies and equipment such as oxygenators, pulse oximeters.
· Providing support to the nursing workforce to prevent burnout and to maintain a healthy workforce - providing resources, counseling, care packages, and other incentives.
