Help Shawn Michael Mills Recover From Car Wreck

On Saturday at 2 AM, Shawn and his boyfriend Dustin were traveling home after Dustin picked Shawn up from work at Yellow Brick Pizza. At the intersection of Broad and 4th, they were struck by a car.

Both Dustin and Shawn were taken to Grant Hospital suffering major trauma. Dustin, unfortunately, passed away that night, while Shawn was beside him fighting for his life.

The only thing Shawn remembers from the night was the Grant staff slapping his face to wake him up and telling him he needed to say goodbye to his boyfriend because Dustin was not going to make it. They were able to hold hands one last time. Shawn then woke up and Dustin was no longer there.

Shawn has broken both legs, 9 ribs, his collarbone, sternum, pelvis, has cuts on his liver, had bleeding in his brain...honestly, the list is so long, that is just the start of it. Shawn is still in the ICU but it is anticipated they will be moving him to a regular room today. The good news is, Shawn will live.

If you know Shawn and Dustin, you know how happy they were. While the recovery of the broken bones and other damage is going to be long, the pain of losing Dustin is going to be great.

During Shawn's recovery, he is going to have a lot of expenses. Any help you can give would be much appreciated.
