Stella's medical bills

Hey everyone! I'm Danielle's sister, Ashley. Recently it was determined that Stella, my one year old niece, had a C-Diff infection, and she wound up in the hospital, due to how severe her symptoms were. While in the hospital, she progressively got worse and had to be transferred to the University of Iowa children's hospital. The transfer was delayed almost 24 hours due to icy weather and poor travel conditions. During this time, Stella continued to get worse.  She unfortunately is still in the hospital. She is still fighting the C-Diff infection, has a horrible infection in her kidneys and also has a prolapsed rectum (part of her intestines have started to come out of her back end, due to all of the trauma this is causing in her stomach). Currently, the doctors think Stella will NOT need surgery to fix the prolapsed rectum, however there is still a small possibility.  While Stella has shown slight symptoms of improvement this afternoon (she actually ate something! ), it is still unknown how long she may be in the hospital.  Danielle and Brady have been had to miss work to care for, and be with Stella, so their income is currently limited, while Stella's medical bills have been drastically increasing.  Danielle just started a new job the week before Christmas and unfortunately does not have any vacation time to use.  Once Stella is released from the hospital, she will need to be monitored closely for awhile, to ensure the infection does not come back.  Any donations will be used to help with Stella's medical bills, and cover household expenses while full time work is not possible.  Thank you so much for taking the time to read and please continue to keep Stella in your thoughts and prayers! ❤️
