2022: One of two Blue Hose players to play and start in all 54 games… served as PC’s first baseman, right fielder and designated hitter… led the offensive attack with a .351 average including nine doubles and five homers… drove in 34 runs… scored 54 runs… was one of four players in the league to total 70+ hits with 74… stole 16 bases… added a .474 slugging percentage and a .422 on-base percentage… finished second in the league hitting .351… recorded a team-high 20 multi-hit games with a season-high four against Georgia State (March 11)… added seven contests with multiple RBIs… earned Big South Player of the Week honors after a 7-for-13 performance against Bellarmine back in March… added four saves in limited time on the mound… tossed 14 innings over 13 appearances on the hill… made his lone start in season-finale against HPU (May 21)… hit a team-high .364 with three homers in league play… was a perfect 12-for-12 in conference action on the bases… in the single-season DI record book, ranked first in runs (54), fourth on-base percentage (.422), tied for fourth in stolen bases (16) and fifth in batting average (.351)…

2021: Played and started in all 45 games during the 2021 season with 23 starts in right field and 22 at first base… was one of two Blue Hose to play and start in all 45 games… third on the team with a .279 average as he led the Blue Hose with 53 hits, 13 doubles and 43 runs driven in and also was second on the team with nine home runs… drew 18 walks and was 8-for-8 on the bases… second on the team with 14 multi-hit games… tied for team-lead with 11 multi-RBI contests… was 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBI’s against UNC Asheville (April 2)… had four games with four runs knocked in… was 7-for-13 with two doubles, two home runs and seven runs knocked in during the Big South Championship… on the mound, appeared in 16 games with a 3-1 record and totaled eight saves and a 3.15 ERA… allowed 15 runs (12 earned) over 34.1 innings… totaled 29 strikeouts and 15 walks… earned his first win of the year going 3.0 inning allowing one run against Radford (March 19)… tossed 2.0 innings of scoreless baseball for a save against CSU (March 27)… tossed the final 5.2 innings in a 14-inning marathon win over UNC Asheville (April 6) for his second win of the year… recorded scoreless outings against Longwood (April 17) and Campbell (April 23) to earn saves in both outings… earned relief pitcher of the week following his performance against Campbell (April 23 & 25) where he totaled a 4.0 inning victory and a save… tossed scoreless inning against UNC Asheville (May 5) for fifth save… earned save with five strikeout performance against High Point (May 15)… earned saves against Campbell in both Big South tournament games to help PC earn first league title… his eight saves rank third in the Blue Hose DI single-season record book… named to league’s all-tournament team

Before PC: He has spent the past two seasons at Coastal Alabama Community College… he totaled a .300 batting average over 16 games during the 2019-20 campaign… over the same two seasons on the bump he has appeared in 19 games while making nine starts with a pair of wins and four complete games… he was on the president's list with a 4.0 GPA at Coastal Alabama… was an all-state honoree in 2017 while at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School… played basketball as well during his high school time… was a member of the 2016 state championship team…

Personal: Eric Toth was born in Mobile, Ala. to Travis and Elisa Toth… he chose PC because it gave him an opportunity for a great education and the chance to play the game he loves… he intends to major in the business field…
