Spring 2021: Played and started all seven games… a finalist for the Walter Payton Award, Pearson finished the spring with 65 catches for 831 yards and five touchdowns… his 65 catches and 831 yards both rank second in the Blue Hose single-season DI record book… he finished the spring with 9.29 catches per game which rank third in all of FCS while finishing second in the FCS ranks with 118.7 receiving yards per game and third with his 831 receiving yards… he finished 12th in all of FCS with 133.86 all-purpose yards and 15th with his five receiving scores… he was a unanimous first team all-conference selection for wideouts in the PFL and also a first team selection as an all-purpose runner… Pearson had four games with 10+ catches which included setting a DI school single-game record for catches with 15 against Drake which netted him PFL Offensive Player of the Week honors… recorded five games with 100+ yards receiving including a career-high 173 yards at Drake which ranks second in the single-game record book… he had 100+ all-purpose yards in six of seven games with the high mark coming against Drake at 177… he earned PFL Special Teams Player of the Week honors after setting a DI school record with a 65 yard punt return in the contest with Morehead State… he earned All-American Honors from the AFCA FCS Coaches and Stats Perform… he finished his career the school’s DI career record holder in catches (200), receiving yards (2,304)… he’s third with five receptions per game in his PC career, fourth in touchdowns at 10… finished second with 3,419 all-purpose yards…
2019: Played and started in all 12 games… set a Blue Hose DI record for catches in a season with 71 receptions… led the team with 777 yards receiving and three touchdowns… had 13 kick returns for 232 yards along with six punt returns for 43 yards… recorded three 100 yard receiving games… opened season with seven catches for 64 yards against Mercer… had five catches for 68 yards and a touchdown at North Alabama… he recorded three catches for 18 yards vs Kennesaw State to push him over 1,000 career receiving yards becoming the seventh player in DI history for the Blue Hose to eclipse that mark… Pearson kept the milestones coming in the next weekend as his three catches pushed him over 100 career receptions becoming the eighth in DI school history… he had 116 yards on eight catches at Hampton, while following that up with nine catches for 129 yards against Charleston Southern…. in the Blue Hose season finale against St. Andrews, Pearson recorded a career-high 10 catches for 138 yards while picking up his first multi-touchdown game of his career…. Pearson finished tied for first in the league in receptions (71), tied for first in receptions per game (5.91) , fifth in receiving yards (777) and sixth in yards per game (64.75)….
2018: Played and started in all 10 games… recorded 52 receptions for a team-high 565 yards on the year with a pair of touchdowns… recorded a 29-yard touchdown pass against Bluefield College… had four kickoff returns for 85 yards… had three games with at least 100 all-purpose yards highlighted by 134 yards against Bluefield (101 receiving/33 kick return)… had six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown in a 41-10 win over Bluefield… picked up seven catches for 72 yards and a touchdown against Hampton… recorded seven catches for 103 yards against Gardner-Webb… had four catches on seven occasions… his 5.20 catches per game ranks second in the PC D1 record book for receptions per game… tied for second in Big South in receptions… ranked third in the league with 56.5 yards per game… finished fifth in the conference in receiving yards…
2017: Played in all 11 games, starting five...recorded 12 receptions for 131 yards on the season...PC's leading kickoff returner, recording 28 kickoff returns for 609 yards, the most by a PC player since 2012, an average of 21.8 yards...totaled a season-high 130 kick return yards on six returns against Liberty...also tallied 100 kick return yards at Wake Forest in his collegiate debut...averaged a season-high 30.6 yards per return against Wofford, returning three kicks for 92 yards...managed a season-high 30 receiving yards against Cumberland...grabbed two receptions on five occasions
