2022 Season (Sophomore): Served as a starter on the defensive line for the second straight season... totaled 43 tackles with 14 solo... was third on the team with 6.0 tackles for loss... registered a career-high 11 tackles at Lamar including a half sack... had two TFLs against UIW and finished with seven stops... recorded eight tackles at ULM... broke up a pass in win at HCU.

2021 Season (Freshman): Starter on the defensive line, playing in all 11 games... finished with 23 tackles (12 solo)... totaled a season-high six tackles in opener at Memphis... was second on the team with 3.5 sacks and had 5.0 tackles for loss... had 2.0 TFLs, a sack, and forced a fumble against Louisiana... recorded 1.5 sacks in win over North Alabama... finished with two forced fumbles and two pass breakups... was a CoSIDA Academic All-District and Southland All-Academic honoree.

2021 Spring Season (Freshman): Played in all seven games on the defensive line as a true freshman... started the final two games... racked up 18 tackles and 5.5 for loss... finished with 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery... had a high of five tackles with 2.0 TFLs in the opener against Lincoln and added a forced fumble... had 1.0 TFLs in three other games... registered four tackles and a fumble recovery at McNeese.

At Lakeshore: Was a two-way starter for the Titans at tight end and defensive line... named 9-4A District MVP and first team as both a DL and TE... garnered Louisiana Sports Writers 4A All-State First Team as a senior... recorded 105.5 tackles with 7.5 sacks, 35 TFLs, 11 QB hurries, eight breakups, one interception, one caused interception, and a forced fumble... three-time all-parish and all-district selection... also competed in wrestling and track and field... earned a state title in wrestling and was named all-state in 2020... garnered all-state in discus and took third in 2019... also is a LHSAA Academic All-State member... had a 4.2 GPA and scored a 30 on the ACT.

Personal: Birthday is Jan 23... son of Joey and Michelle Bernard... father played football at McNeese... has three older siblings, Jean, Ali, and Jacob, and one younger, current teammate Ryan... Jacob is a wide receiver at University of Louisiana... majoring in biology/pre-med.
