Today starts with cloudy skies. Dry through late morning. Showers are expected across western areas around midday.

Rain spreads west to east by mid-afternoon and continues through mid-evening. A 6-hour window for general light/moderate rain. Winds gusting to 25-30 mph.

Cloudy Wednesday with temps in the upper 40s with late-day sunshine. Temperatures stay cooler than average through midweek then rebound this weekend. Dry from Wednesday through Friday. Warm front Saturday (few showers/storm) then warmer temperatures next weekend into the following week.

Big temperature changes this time of year are a VERY common occurrence in the southern Great Lakes. So going from 30s to 50s/60s for example is nothing new. In fact, Scott looked back on each daytime temperature since 1970 and checked what month had the greatest day-to-day changes. MARCH AND APRIL are at the top of the list!
