Children's Miracle Network Hospitals

Every year since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has brought communities together to raise money—often $1 at a time—for premier children's hospitals across North America. Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital is the CMN hospital for Eastern Washington, which means that funds raised through CMNH promotions in our area stay right here in Spokane to benefit our local children’s hospital. In 2022, CMN Hospitals raised $2.2 million for Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital.

Locally, CMNH raises money for everything from life-saving equipment to birthday parties for our patients. These funds are unrestricted, which allow us to respond to critical needs at a moment’s notice. CMNH became part of Providence Inland Northwest Foundation in 2018.

Fundraising Spotlight

Costco Wholesale has been a national partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1987. Currently over 800 Warehouses, Depots, Call Centers, and Business Centers raise money for local children’s hospitals across the U.S. and Canada.

In the Inland Northwest, five warehouses raise money specifically for Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital. In 2023, those five warehouses raised just over $445,000 for our hospital. Every May, Costco participates in a month-long campaign. The simple ask to “round up” at cash registers is the primary source of fundraising. Costco Members are invited to donate when they check out. Members can also make donations at self-check-out, the food court and on Costco.com during the month of May—it’s the Month of Miracles!
