As a health care provider, you are a trusted source of health information in your community. By signing on to the Power of Providers (POP) Initiative, you are joining thousands of others who have committed to Seek, Ask/Educate, Vaccinate, and Empower patients against COVID-19 disease. - SEEK: Seek your patients' COVID-19 vaccination status.
- ASK/EDUCATE: If your patient isn't vaccinated, ask them about the vaccine and offer education if they're unsure.
- VACCINATE: If your patient agrees to vaccination, provide them with a COVID-19 vaccine or a referral to a location that provides COVID-19 vaccination.
- EMPOWER: Empower your patients to share their vaccination status with the community.
All individual health care professionals, health care organizations, and partner associations can join this initiative. If you sign up on behalf of your organization, please ensure you have appropriate approval beforehand. You don’t need to be licensed to vaccinate in order to join POP, as long as you are able to discuss vaccinations with your patients or clients and refer them to where they can receive a vaccine.
