Hello students!

Thank you for your interest in the UVA SNMA 2024 Mini-Medical School Day. Interest in this year’s program was overwhelming! With that being said, both our regular participant registration and waitlist has reached their maximum capacities.

Our goal is to provide early exposure to the field of medicine in hopes of diversifying the medical workforce and strengthening the medical pipeline. Target groups include 9th through 12th grade students who identify as underrepresented minorities, financially disadvantaged, and/or those who will be the first in their family to attend college and/or medical school. During the event, there will be several hands-on simulations, workshops and panels with current medical students and resident physicians.

Please note, although this year's program is at capacity there is still an opportunity for interested students to participate in our program next year. UVA SNMA will be hosting this program each year moving forward and we invite all interested students to keep our program in mind for next year.
