Coaching Application for Returning Coaches
APPLICATIONS ARE CONSIDERED IN CONFIDENCE

Thank you for coaching last season. The Committee would like to offer you the opportunity to continue coaching next season.

We aim to provide the highest quality coaching for all Oakleigh Dragons players and it is with this goal in mind we are seeking your assistance to find the best people available for coaching, assistant coaching and special coaching roles.
If you are interested in coaching, or know someone who has something to offer, please complete the attached.
Any queries can be forwarded confidentially to the President.

Coaching staff will be required to have at least Level 1 accreditation at the time of application or give a commitment to reach accreditation during the season.  Coaches report to the Football Department of the Oakleigh Dragons Junior Football Club and work within the club’s guidelines and code of conduct.  They are required to demonstrate the ability to develop players as well as manage and work with assistant coaches and parents.

Coaches are required to:

- Demonstrate the ability to develop players as well as manage and work with assistant coaches and parents
- Complete a “Working With Children" check
- Complete the adequate coaching accreditation level as per SMJFL guidelines
- Submit a written match report for the Club's Acorn newsletter (Submitted by COB the Monday directly following the game)
- Attend and give a verbal match report at "Grub at the Club" (or arrange for a representative to provide it if they are unable to attend)
- Attend all compulsory coaches meetings prior to and during the season

All applications are treated in confidence. All applicants will be required to attend a formal interview.
