Larkspur Middle School staff and students are excited to host our Discover the Den transition program for rising 6th grade students on Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  Any rising 6th grade student enrolled at Larkspur during the 2022-2023 school year can attend. Students will have the opportunity to meet LKMS teachers and staff, tour the building, ask questions, and learn about sports and activities prior to the first day of middle school. They will also be able to meet their classmates through various team building activities.

If your child plans to attend the program, please submit the following information by Thursday, August 18th. You will see a space to indicate neighborhood name. VBCPS school buses will run routes in LKMS neighborhoods in the morning and in the afternoon to allow students the opportunity to ride a bus to attend the program. Please be specific in confirming the name of your neighborhood. Typically, summer school stops are used which may be a further distance from your child's bus stop during the school year. If parents prefer to drop-off and pick-up their child,  please indicate this preference on the registration form.
